An East Cobb resident is in custody after threatening a police officer while being treated at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, according to an arrest warrant.
The warrant for John Edward Sneed, 55, of Robinson Road, said that he told a police officer who was trying to move him on a hospital bed that “take these things off and I will beat you to death” and “I’ll shoot you dead. Next time I see you, you’re all dead, ” as well as “I’m not homicidal, except for you two.”
The warrant did not specify the medical attention Sneed was receiving, but the incident occurred last Wednesday, Aug. 19.

Sneed has been charged with felony counts of making terroristic threats and obstruction and a misdemeanor count of simple assault.
According to the Cobb Sheriff’s Office, he was booked on Aug. 20 and remains at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on a $11,220 bond.
