The Rotary Club of East Cobb invites the community to participate in the 21st Annual Dog Days 5K, taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, beginning at 7:00 a.m.
A beloved East Cobb tradition, the Dog Days 5K brings together runners, walkers, families, businesses, and community supporters for a morning of fun while raising funds for local nonprofit organizations.
Since its inception, the Dog Days 5K has:
- Raised more than $1.3 million for local charities
- Welcomed more than 10,000 participants
- Supported dozens of nonprofit organizations serving East Cobb and the surrounding communities
Last year’s event attracted more than 700 runners and raised over $84,000, with proceeds benefiting more than 30 local nonprofit organizations that provide critical services to children, families, seniors, veterans, and individuals in need.
The Rotary Club of East Cobb is also seeking sponsors for the 2026 event. Sponsorship offers businesses an opportunity to increase community visibility while directly supporting local charities. Sponsorship benefits include recognition on the event website, race-day signage, social media, promotional materials, the official race T-shirt, and recognition at the annual Dog Days Giveback Ceremony.
