Rotary Club of East Cobb to hold 21st Dog Days Run on Aug. 8

East Cobb Rotary Dog Days Run

The East Cobb Rotary Club will hold the 21st running of the Days 5K Road Race, one of its main fundraising events, on Aug. 8 at the McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA (10:55 East Piedmont Road).

Registration continues and sponsors are being sought for the event, which raises more than $100,000 for more than 20 East Cobb, local and other charities of the Rotary Club.

The event is open to all ages—runners, walkers and crawlers—cost to participate in the run is $30 ($35 on race day). There will be awards given by age groups and sexes. To register, click here.

The 5K course starts and ends at the YMCA and winds through the vicinity, along Roswell Road and Sewell Mill Road.

Local sponsors can present their goods and services at the event, and packages run from $250 to a presenting sponsorship of $15,000. For more information, click here.
