As Georgia families prepare for the start of a new school year, Whataburger is partnering with local organizations across Cobb County to help address two of the biggest back-to-school challenges: access to nutritious food and essential school supplies.

Helping Families Access Fresh Food

On July 21, Whataburger partnered with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to host a Mobile Food Pantry at Bumbry Elementary School in Marietta. Approximately 300–350 families received fresh groceries, school supplies, clear backpacks and other essentials, while the Whataburger Food Truck served hot meals to attendees. Whataburger Family Members also volunteered alongside Atlanta Community Food Bank staff and community partners to distribute resources ahead of the new school year.

Together, these partnerships reflect Whataburger’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities it serves – helping meet immediate needs while giving students and families the resources to begin the school year on a strong footing.

These local efforts are part of Whataburger’s broader Feeding Student Success initiative, reflecting the brand’s commitment to helping students and families access the food and resources they need to start the school year strong.
