Men’s Division International (MDI), also known as Mentor Discover Inspire, recently put its mission into action at McFarlane Nature Park, volunteering their time, skills and manpower to rehabilitate the park’s restroom facility and help preserve an important community resource.
McFarlane Nature Park is owned and protected by The Cobb Land Trust, Inc., whose work helps ensure that this special natural space remains available for the community and future generations.
The volunteer project was recently highlighted in the McFarlane Nature Park newsletter, recognizing Mentor Discover Inspire as the men’s group that rehabbed the park restroom, along with photos of their work.
For MDI, the project represents much more than repairing a building. It is an example of what the organization believes mature masculine leadership looks like: men working together, serving others and leaving their communities better than they found them.
Its vision is:
“A world where Honor, Selflessness, Commitment, Integrity, Training & Learning give men the wisdom and courage to serve all men, women, and children for the betterment of humanity.”
Those values came to life at McFarlane Nature Park. The men didn’t simply talk about Honor, Selflessness, Commitment and Integrity. They brought those values with them, rolled up their sleeves and went to work.
With approximately 60 MDI members in the Atlanta area and growing, and around 750 members nationally, MDI is building a community of men committed to mentorship, leadership, personal growth and service.
MEN MAKING A DIFFERENCE
At a time when communities need positive examples of men supporting one another and giving back, MDI demonstrates what can happen when mentorship is paired with action.
Whether mentoring another man, strengthening a family, supporting a young person or volunteering in the community, the goal is the same:
CAUSE GREATNESS. SERVE OTHERS. MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
The McFarlane Nature Park project is one more example of that mission at work – and one that will benefit everyone who visits the park.

We accept PDFs as an accompaniment to your item. Images are fine too, but we prefer those to be JPG files (more than jpeg and png). PLEASE DO NOT send photos inside a PDF or text or any other kind of file, but d0 send them as attachments to your email.
Of course, send us links that are relevant to your message so we can direct people to your website.
It might take us a bit longer to publish your news than it would if you send it via Partyline, so we suggest that option if it’s really timely!
