Gardeners' Night Out events resume at Cobb library branches

“Divide & Conquer: Perennial Plant Division” is the topic for the Gardeners’ Night Out programs in August through early November at six Cobb County library locations. The free programs will cover the best practices and reasons for dividing plants to boost garden health and expand landscaping. Participants will be eligible for raffles, door prizes and take-home plants.
The evening horticultural education programs are presented at Cobb libraries by Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County in collaboration with Cobb County UGA Cooperative Extension Service.
The upcoming round of Gardeners’ Night Out programs, all starting at 6:30 pm, include:
  • Tuesday, Aug. 11: East Cobb Library, 4880 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta 30068
  • Tuesday, Sept. 8: West Cobb Regional Library, 1750 Dennis Kemp Lane, Kennesaw 30152
  • Wednesday, Sept. 16: Switzer Library, 266 Roswell St., Marietta 30060
  • Tuesday, Sept. 29: South Cobb Regional Library, 805 Clay Road, Mableton 30126
  • Tuesday, Oct. 13: Mountain View Regional Library, 3320 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta 30066
  • Tuesday, Nov. 3: North Cobb Regional Library, 3535 Old 41 Highway, Kennesaw 30144
