Cobb 2026 general election early voting information released

The Cobb Board of Elections and Registrations has released information on early voting for the 2026 general election.

Registered Cobb voters can vote ahead of the Nov. 3 general election day from Oct. 13-30 at several locations around the county, including two in East Cobb.

A variety of local, state and federal races will be on the ballot, as will a referendum to extend the Cobb government Special-Purpose Local-Option Sales Tax (SPLOST).

East Cobb News will publish a full early voting guide in early October that will include candidate information and more details on the voting process.

The deadline to register to vote or to update your voter registration status is Oct. 5 (details here). If you plan to vote by mail via absentee ballot, you have until Oct. 23 to apply, and can do so at this link.

The early voting locations, dates and times are noted as follows. The venues include the East Cobb Government Service Center (4400 Lower Roswell Road) and the Tim D. Lee Senior Center (3332 Sandy Plains Road):

  • Oct. 13-16, Tuesday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 17, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 18, Sunday, 12-5 p.m. (East Cobb Govt. Center)
  • Oct. 19-23, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 24, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 25, Sunday, 12-5 p.m. (East Cobb Govt. Center)
  • Oct. 26-30, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There is no early voting on Monday, Oct. 12, due to the Columbus Day holiday, and no early voting will take place from Oct. 31-Nov. 2. On election day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, voters will go their assigned precincts.

Several locations will have drop boxes for ballots, including the East Cobb Government Services Center and Gritters Library (880 Shaw Park Road).
