An East Cobb teenager is being held without bond after being charged last week with sexually assaulting a minor girl.
According to an arrest warrant, Shawn Marshman, 18, of a Field Creek Drive address off Hembree Road, was arrested on Thursday for rape and aggravated sodomy following an alleged incident earlier this summer at a home on Spencers Trace.
The warrant states that a minor female said during a forensic interview with the SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center that between June 1 and Aug. 1, Marshman held the girl’s arms down, took off her clothes and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her, despite her saying “we can stop” and “stop” multiple times.
The warrant also said that during the same incident, Marshman pushed the girl down on her knees, grabbed her hair “by the roots” and forced her to perf0rm oral sex on him.
Marshman has been detained at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center since late Thursday, according to his booking report.
