The PTAs at three schools in East Cobb are being recognized in the National PTA Schools of Excellence program for the 2025-27 period.
The East Cobb County Council of PTAs announced last week that the Dodgen Middle School PTSA, the Keheley Elementary School PTA and the Mountain View Elementary School PTA are among the five recognized for the honor from the state of Georgia.
“This year, National PTA honored 321 local PTAs and schools as 2025-2027 National PTA Schools of Excellence for building partnerships between families and their schools that enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students,” the ECCC PTA message stated.
Lindse Parsons, co-president of the Mountain View PTA, told East Cobb News that “I just felt it shines a great light on our East Cobb area and the level of volunteering and engagement in our schools!”
