East Cobb Library Community Room
4880 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068
Is there a hole in your favorite shirt, but you don’t know how to fix it? Join East Cobb Library on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 1-3pm for a clothing repair clinic where volunteer sewing aficionados will be ready to help fix your garments.
Beyond fixing garments, This clinic will provide community members a chance to learn and exchange fundamental sewing and repair skills while mending their garments. To encourage environmental sustainability and minimize landfill waste, the event will focus on:
- Using basic hand sewing to mend minor tears and rips
- Creating and applying patches
- Reinforcing fabric that has become worn
- Reconstructing hems and seams
Participants will also have access to a dedicated DIY area, complimentary repair supplies, educational materials, and repair guides. Please be aware that this clinic is intended for repairs only; no alterations will be performed. There is a limit of one item per person, and no prior registration is necessary. This event is proudly sponsored by Stitched Gifts and Parkaire Landing Plaza.
