Marietta July 4 Celebration

The City of Marietta’s 4th In The Park Celebration includes a morning parade, an all-day arts and crafts show, food, carnival games, plus an evening concert featuring Departure, and fireworks finale.

Application for the annual let Freedom Ring Parade are still open. This year’s parade holds special significance as it coincides with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a historic milestone that invites communities across the nation to reflect on our shared past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead to the future we are building together.

Local school bands, military units, civic organizations, scouting groups, pageant titleholders, area businesses, and other community organizations are encouraged to participate in this celebratory event. The Let Freedom Ring Parade is a longstanding Marietta tradition and a meaningful way to be part of this once-in-a-generation commemoration.

Community members and organizations are encouraged to register early and join Marietta in commemorating America’s 250th anniversary. Be part of history—Let Freedom Ring in Marietta on July 4, 2026.
