It’s time to apply for homestead exemptions. A homestead exemption is savings on property taxes available to homeowners who meet certain qualifications, such as residency.
Use the online form at cobbtax.org/property/
exemptions.php to submit a 2024 Homestead Exemption application. Applications must be received, or USPS postmarked, by April 1 to be accepted for this tax year. Other exemptions you can apply for include disability, state veterans disability, state senior age 65, Cobb County School Tax exemption for homeowners over 62 and more.
