SUMMARY:Community Emergency Preparedness and Volunteer Fair
DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to an Emergency Preparedness and JustServe Volunteer Fair on Saturday\, September 12\, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints\, 3155 Trickum Rd NE\, Marietta. This free event brings neighbors together to learn practical skills for emergency preparedness with demonstrations on first aid training\, 72-hour survival kits\, blackout power options\, and more. \nLocal charitable organizations will also be on site to promote community involvement and opportunities to volunteer will be available through the JustServe app. Families are encouraged to attend with activities for children including a “Touch-A-Truck” experience and registration with the Georgia Child Identification Program. The American Red Cross will also be available to donate blood.
