SUMMARY:Amadeus String Ensemble Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Music ministry of St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church in Marietta\, Ga.\, will launch its annual community concert series with a return performance by The Amadeus String Ensemble on Sunday\, Sept. 13\, 2026\, at 3 p.m. \nThe quartet of local professional musicians has been delighting audiences in the Atlanta area for more than 20 years—including a fall 2024 Friends of Music performance. The upcoming concert once again will be led by founding member\, violinist Sou-Chen Su\, and will feature his wife\, violinist Sheela Iyengar-Su\, violist Zhenwei Shi and cellist Charae Kreuger. \nThe afternoon’s musical program will include “Divertimento in F major\, K.138” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart\, George Gershwin’s beloved American classic\, “Summertime\,” and “String Quartet No. 2 in D Major” by Alexander Borodin. \nAll Friends of Music events are free to the public and donations are accepted. General seating is first-come\, first-served. No tickets are necessary. All concerts are held at St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church\, which is located at 571 Holt Road.
