The event will feature live entertainment\, family-friendly activities\, food vendors\, and a patriotic drone show celebrating this historic milestone. \n“America’s 250th anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s history\, celebrate the freedoms we enjoy\, and recognize the generations of Americans who have helped shape our communities\,” said Cobb County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Lisa Cupid. “Cobb Celebrates 250 is a chance for residents to come together\, honor our shared heritage\, and create new memories as we look toward the future.” \nAs part of Cobb’s celebration of America’s semiquincentennial\, patriotic photo banners have been installed throughout county facilities\, parks\, libraries\, senior centers\, and more. Residents are encouraged to snap a photo with the banners and share it on social media using the hashtag #Cobb250. \nResidents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs\, blankets\, and their patriotic spirit for an unforgettable evening.
