To encourage environmental sustainability and minimize landfill waste\, the event will focus on: \n\nUsing basic hand sewing to mend minor tears and rips\nCreating and applying patches\nReinforcing fabric that has become worn\nReconstructing hems and seams\n\n\nParticipants will also have access to a dedicated DIY area\, complimentary repair supplies\, educational materials\, and repair guides.
